About Me

Background & More

I was born and raised in a small seaside town in Suffolk, the type of place that is overrun with tourists in the summer months and in the winter, an anticipatory quiet descends. The town is still my home and that of my two children.

My passion for writing began with poetry, but was soon superseded though by the challenge of writing crime thrillers and a desire to bring to light, stories that I feel should be told. My poetry and childrens books have been written under the pen name 'Julie Missen'.
